Description: The only genuine known footage of the newly built RMS Titanic. Enhanced through AI. Docked at the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast on Feb 3rd 1912. While here in the Thompson Graving Dock, the Titanic's propellers were fitted and the painting of her hull above and below the waterline was completed. After the ship sank on its maiden voyage, newsreels hurriedly put together a film which largely featured Captain Smith on the Olympic, the sister ship of the Titanic. AI Upscaling process 1. Cleaned artifacts and noise 2.Upscaled from 360p to 4k resolution 3.Increased frame interpolation from 18 fps to 60 fps using Dain neural network app. 4.Added color using Deoldify. 5.Added soundtrack. This short AI enhanced film is published here for preservation purposes and to add an immersive experience to the work of early filmmakers. It is free to view and not commercially available on DVD or for republishing elsewhere.
